Description campsite
The Kanuclub Würzburg e.V. has its club grounds with a clubhouse and camping area on a large meadow in the Bavarian city of Würzburg between some trees directly on the banks of the Main. The campsite covers around 800 square metres and offers six pitches for rent for guests with their own caravan or motorhome. About 20 permanent campers have set up their long-term quarters here. A Franconian inn, which is located in the club building, offers hot meals to camping guests. There is a small fitness room right next door. The sporting highlights that holidaymakers can expect here are, of course, boat trips by canoe or rowing boat. Beginner courses are offered every week, and from time to time you can watch the fast-paced game of canoe polo and even try it out for yourself. The best excursion destination from the KC Würzburg campsite is the beautiful city center of the Franconian metropolis. Würzburg Castle, Marienberg Fortress, the Old Main Bridge and St. Kilian's Cathedral are just a few of the highlights of this traditional city, which is also known for its pretty beer gardens and wine festivals.
