Description campsite
Escherndorf is located in the middle of the Franconian wine country on the Volkacher Mainschleife and is rightly called the Pearl of Franconia. Every year in late summer and autumn, several traditional wine festivals take place in this pretty wine-growing town. The 15,000 square meter campsite is located directly on the banks of the Main River. From April to October, 100 plots of 65 square metres each are available to holidaymakers. The site, which has been in family hands since 1956, is in a very quiet location. The sanitary building, which is partially handicapped accessible, also houses a baby bath as well as a washing machine and a tumble dryer. In addition, Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire site. If you don't want to cook yourself, you can visit the on-site restaurant with a sun terrace. Active holidaymakers will find an outdoor and indoor swimming pool as well as a tennis court within a radius of about five kilometers. However, there is a table tennis table on site. Motorhome travellers who only want to spend the night in Escherndorf and use the disposal facility there can drive to a separate parking space just outside the campsite.
