The Bavarian Camping Industry Association is pleased to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
On November 7, 1973, the founding meeting took place in the Löwenbräu Keller in Munich with 70 members. Mr. Robert Schießl and Mr. Martin Förstl were our first chairmen.
On that day, camping history was written in Bavaria and we have continued to write this success story ever since. Camping is the winner in the accommodation sector. Camping creates jobs - whether for the manufacturers of caravans, mobile homes, tents or for those who supply camping guests and product suppliers for the campsites. Local retailers, restaurants, bakeries, breweries, the construction industry, tourism offers and many others benefit.
