Description campsite
Are you looking for a nice pitch for your holiday or as a permanent pitch?
Our campsite is located in the middle of Germany and is the ideal starting point for day trips, hikes and bike tours in the Spessart Nature Park, Rhön Nature Park and the Franconian Wine Country.
You can expect 100-200m² pitches with electricity and water connections (all permanent pitches with sewer connection), a new service building, a restaurant (dinner from 5 p.m.) with a large terrace for a cold beer in the afternoon and a small grocery store where you can pick up your fresh bread rolls every morning.
For the kids there is a 1000m² playground, a 4000m² playing field and an on-site swimming pool. On rainy days there are cartoons or entertainment in the youth room. There is a playroom for the little ones to have lots of fun.
The older generation can chat a bit while playing outdoor chess, read an exciting crime novel in the on-site library or make themselves comfortable in the whirlpool or steam shower.
None of this is for you? Then try camping + bus cycling, rent a trike or try archery. If it really rains, visit our fitness room or sunbathe in the solarium.

Directions from the west
Leave the A3(E41) Frankfurt - Würzburg motorway at exit 61 (Hösbach/Lohr) and then take the B26 federal road towards Lohr and Gemünden. In Gemünden turn right onto the Main Bridge. On the Main Bridge and at the end of the Main Bridge turn right again. At the end of the next village (Hofstetten) you will find our campsite, which is signposted from Gemünden.
Directions from the east
If you are coming from the north or east:
Leave the A7(E45) Kassel - Würzburg motorway at exit 97 (Hammelburg) and then drive towards Hammelburg and Gemünden. In Gemünden turn left onto the Main Bridge. On the Main Bridge and at the end of the Main Bridge, turn right. At the end of the next village (Hofstetten) you will find our campsite, which is signposted from Gemünden.
If you are coming from the south:
Leave the A3(E45) Nuremberg - Würzburg motorway at exit 72 (Rottendorf) and then take the B27 towards Fulda and Karlstadt. In Karlstadt follow the main road, which then becomes the B26 and goes to Gemünden. In Gemünden turn left onto the Main Bridge. On the Main Bridge and at the end of the Main Bridge, turn right. At the end of the next village (Hofstetten) you will find our campsite, which is signposted from Gemünden.
If you are coming from the south-west:
The motorway A81(E41) Heilbronn - Würzburg at the motorway junction Würzburg-West onto the motorway A3(E45) towards Nuremberg. Leave the A3(E45) at the next exit 69 (Würzburg-Kist) and then take the B27 towards Fulda and Karlstadt. In Karlstadt follow the main road, which then becomes the B26 and goes to Gemünden. In Gemünden turn left onto the Main Bridge. On the Main Bridge and at the end of the Main Bridge, turn right. At the end of the next village (Hofstetten) you will find our campsite, which is signposted from Gemünden.
