Gemünden - the Franconian three-river city - offers the ideal holiday for both active holidaymakers and nature-loving people who simply want to unwind.
Camping in the state-approved holiday resort of Gemünden am Main means relaxation on a wonderful 5 hectare site close to the old town with - depending on your preference - shady trees or pure sunshine - in the middle of a peninsula, surrounded by two arms of the Franconian Saale. This location ensures enjoyment of nature away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Our Saale-Insel campsite is equipped with 120 tourist pitches of 80 to 120 square meters and 160 pitches for permanent campers.
Modern sanitary facilities with running hot and cold water as well as sufficient washbasins (cold/hot), individual washing cubicles, baby changing area and hot and cold water showers make your stay pleasant.
Our camping guests can use the heated outdoor swimming pool directly adjacent to the campsite free of charge.
