Description campsite
The Schmidt family farm is located in the Rhön Biosphere Reserve on the edge of the climatic health resort of Ostheim. Camping guests can either use the paved pitches in the courtyard of the property or take up quarters in the meadow orchard. The sanitary facilities include a shower. Washroom and toilet as well as a disposal facility for chemical toilets. For a fee, the kitchen in the common room can also be used. The owner family also offers a daily bread roll service. While the scenic, gently rolling hills of the Rhön region are particularly popular with adults, children are delighted by the extensive range of leisure activities on the farm: they can pet and feed ponies, rabbits and goats. They also have the opportunity to take riding lessons. There is also a basketball hoop, table football and a slack line available for young and old. Younger guests can also rent pedal bulldogs and scooters, while a play barn invites them to romp around. In nearby Ostheim with its historic town center there is also a swimming pool, a mini golf course and a museum railway.
