Description campsite
The campsite is in an extremely quiet location in the middle of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve below the 930-metre-high Kreuzberg mountain; the ideal starting point for hikes. The 20,000 square metre area on the outskirts of Oberwildflecken offers space for 120 plots. The sanitary building has washbasins, showers and toilets and a dishwashing room. Cooking facilities, a washing machine and a tumble dryer are available. A lounge can be used for comfortable get-togethers. A small children's playground is directly adjacent. Shops and restaurants can be reached in the neighbouring towns of Wildflecken and Bischofsheim after around 3 km. The surrounding area invites you to spend a varied holiday: the toboggan runs on the Wasserkuppe, the Kreuzberg monastery or the adventure pool in Bad Brückenau. Ski lifts and cross-country ski runs can be reached within just a few kilometres.
