Description campsite
The Tauber-Idyll campsite is in a uniquely beautiful and quiet location in the Tauber Valley on the outskirts of Detwang (Rothenburg's oldest district, founded around 960, with the famous Romanesque church around 1170, with a crucifixion altar by Tilman Riemenschneider) directly below the old romantic town of Rothenburg. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to Rothenburg. The campsite's good facilities (flat meadowland and lawn fences, bordered by trees and bushes, the beautiful Tauber Valley and interesting excursion destinations in the area invite you to stay longer. The name says it all at this small but really fine campsite. The campsite is very well maintained and clean.
