Description campsite
The year-round open Campingland Bernrieder Winkel is quietly located on the outskirts of Bernried. The 60 plots are bordered by small hedges and all have an electricity supply and a water or sewer connection. A little further away there is also a large camping area where groups are especially welcome. The modern sanitary facilities, which have been awarded by the ADAC, were partially renovated in 2011 and include showers and individual shower cubicles as well as separate toilets. There is also a washing machine and a dryer in the building. If you don't want to cook yourself, you can enjoy regional specialties in the rustic restaurant, which has a beer garden. Meanwhile, children can romp around on the playground within sight. In addition, a mini golf course and tennis courts are directly adjacent to the campsite, while the distance to the nearest swimming pool is one kilometre. A beautiful hiking tour leads from the square to Bernried's local mountain, the 1,095 meter high Hirschenstein, but Lusen, Rachel and Großer Arber are also just a few minutes away by car. In winter, however, the ski areas of Sankt Englmar, Kalteck and Geißbach as well as an 80-kilometer-long network of cross-country ski trails are a tempting option.
