Description campsite
The Schnitzmühle campsite in Viechtach is a two-hectare, very natural site directly on the banks of the Schwarzer Regen. There are around 63 pitches and a large tent area under trees available for holidaymakers. The electricity for the entire campsite comes from the campsite’s own small hydroelectric power plant. The Swedish red sanitary building is called the Body Culture House and is equipped with showers, wash cubicles and a baby bath with a changing room. There is also a bathroom suitable for disabled people. In summer, there is also an outdoor shower. Further sanitary facilities include a washing machine and a tumble dryer as well as a scullery and ironing facilities. Cooking facilities can also be used for a fee. Everyday items, fresh bread and organic food are available in the camp shop. In the centre of the campsite, the spa pavilion with whirlpool, sauna and solarium promises rest and relaxation, while the sports offer includes beach volleyball and archery as well as canoeing and horse riding. The Bongo Bar on the beach and the Thai Bay restaurant with a large selection of Thai-Bavarian dishes ensure the guests' physical well-being.
