Description campsite
Our campsite, quietly and idyllically located in the Steinachgrund, on the southern edge of the Steigerwald, offers nature lovers and recreational athletes a wide range of activities.
Our campsite has been renovated at great expense in recent years. The infrastructure and sanitary facilities have now been brought up to date.
Directly attached to the campsite is the Steigerwald Mineralbad, which has been extensively renovated and reopened in 2021. A natural pool with bathing pleasure without chlorine and red eyes. Our camping guests enjoy free entry for the duration of their stay.
The restaurant “Steinachstube”, right on the square, spoils you with Franconian home cooking, but also with other culinary delicacies.
A barbecue area with a snack hut as well as a chess and nine men's morris field invite you to enjoy cosy summer evenings on the square with friends.
For the children, there is a playground right next to the campsite and a water playground and a large play ship at the “Platz der Generationen” (Generations Square) a 5-minute walk away. Here the little ones can romp around as much as they like.
Also at the “Platz der Generationen” there are fitness equipment and a Kneipp facility.
Friends of history, art and culture can immerse themselves in the Middle Ages in the monastery courtyard with its Romanesque St. Nicholas Cathedral (about a 5-minute walk away).
