Description campsite
The Naabtal-Pielenhofen campsite is one of the most beautiful places in Eastern Bavaria. It is located directly on the Naab, surrounded by meadows and forests.
The facility was the state winner in the competition for exemplary campsites in the countryside and was awarded a silver medal in the national competition.
The approximately 6 hectare campsite, which is open all year round, is considered particularly family-friendly.
Our campsite is very popular as a starting point for excursions to the sights of the Danube Valley and the Bavarian Forest. Trips to the old Roman city of Regensburg, the Liberation Hall near Kelheim, Walhalla in Donaustauf, Wolfsegg Castle, the stalactite cave near Velburg or to the hunting falconry in Riedenburg can be made from here. The Five Rivers Cycle Path leads directly past the campsite and is ideal for cycling tours. The site is conveniently located for canoe tours on the rivers Naab, Vils, Lauterach, Regen, Laaber and Danube.
The Naabtal-Pielenhofen campsite offers a wide range of leisure activities for young and old. The guests are provided with the best possible care.
