Description campsite
Surrounded by wooded hills with a beautiful view of the Flossenbürg castle ruins, our campsite offers ideal conditions for a relaxing holiday and active leisure activities. Our terraced campsite, which is open all year round, has 200 pitches and is located on the 9-hectare natural bathing lake of the same name, Gaisweiher.
200 pitches for transit and permanent campers, a large tent site and pure nature all around. There is also a barbecue hut on the campsite that can accommodate up to 120 people. There are two grills in the cabin. The grill grate can be borrowed from reception against a deposit. There is a campfire area directly in front of the barbecue hut. On our campsite you will also find electricity boxes and water outlets at intervals of approximately 30 metres. You can get power using a CEE plug. If you need an adapter, you can borrow one from reception for a deposit or purchase one.
Our campsite is beautifully situated and has direct access to the lake. Rowing boats and inflatable boats are permitted. On the spacious lawn there is a beach volleyball court and an adventure children's playground. A very well developed network of hiking and cycling trails allows hiking enthusiasts direct access to the idyllic Upper Palatinate Forest. You can rent e-bikes at reception to explore the surrounding area.
