Description campsite
The Kohlbachmühle campsite in Untergriesbach is located in the Donautal nature reserve directly on the banks of the Danube and therefore also has a jetty for pleasure boats. A total of 60 pitches are spread out over the spacious grounds, including 40 plots for permanent campers. At the Kohlbachmühle country inn, camping guests can choose from an extensive menu. The restaurant is particularly well-known for grilled and fish specialties, which are also served on the Danube terrace in summer. Active holidaymakers also appreciate the well-developed network of hiking trails in the area and the campsite's direct location on the Danube cycle path, which runs from Passau to Vienna. In the neighboring town of Obernzell there is also an outdoor pool, tennis courts and a waterski facility. Beautiful trips by car lead to Passau, 20 kilometers away, to the Bavarian Forest National Park or to the Churpfalz Park near Cham.
