Description campsite
Chiemsee Strandcamping extends for about 1000m directly on the shore of Lake Chiemsee. The 140 holiday pitches are located a maximum of 50 m from the shore, 65 of which are directly on the beach. From here you can watch the most beautiful sunsets on Lake Chiemsee. The view across the lake to the two islands and the Alps makes your heart beat faster. The pitches in all sizes (50 – 130 sqm) are well paved and accessible to vehicles of all sizes. Electricity and water are usually close to the pitch. The area is planted with small trees and bushes, sunny to shady. The renovated sanitary facilities are centrally located in the main building and are equipped with underfloor heating. On the second half of the site (expanded in 2021) there are Maxi Comfort pitches with electricity, water and sewage on site. A new, open, modern and well-ventilated summer sanitary building is currently being built there and is scheduled to be completed for the 2024 season. Sufficient toilets and showers, all included in the price, equipped with seat disinfection and cleaned 3 times a day. Individual washing cubicles are available for men and women. Also in the new sanitary building, soon to be completed: barrier-free sanitary facilities and family rental bathrooms. Separate dog beach. Fun & sports area with garden chess, bocce court, small outdoor fitness park, table tennis, loungers, billiards, table football, darts, air hockey ... and much more. On site there is a newly designed bar with café, the pizzeria "La Terrazza" with home-made stone oven pizzas and a small mini market. Coffee and beer specialties, cocktails, stone oven pizza, tarte flambée, basic foodstuffs and cosmetic products are available. Breakfast pastries freshly baked upon pre-order. Breakfast can also be enjoyed on the terrace. In the evening: Cocktails can be enjoyed by the open fire in the attractively designed lounge area. New from 2024: Four car charging stations, a small camping shop and the “Rialto” aperitif bar on the second half of the site. Occasional live music evenings.
