Where is Moritz? you may ask yourself. No, we have nothing to do with the famous winter sports resort of St. Moritz. Our tranquil village is located in the Upper Franconian district of Forchheim. In the immediate vicinity of the famous pilgrimage site of Gößweinstein you will find the village of Moritz.
Information about the campsite
Our large, idyllic mountain campsite is located above the heights of Franconian Switzerland (approx. 500 metres above sea level) in an absolutely quiet and romantic location. Camping enthusiasts will find a spacious, natural area for tents, caravans and mobile homes with simple sanitary facilities. There are three climbing formations nearby for all climbing enthusiasts. The sunset over the mountain ranges is a dream. Ending the day in peace by the crackling campfire - nothing could be easier. If required, you can also have breakfast and meals in the guesthouse. We are a family-friendly company and want you to feel comfortable with us. With us you have the peace and quiet you need from everyday life - you can simply switch off. Relax - with us in Moritz.
Information about the guesthouse
On our menu you will find Franconian specialties. How about a crispy Schäuferla or a hearty snack? Our inn enjoys an excellent reputation for Franconian cuisine. We also offer regional beer specialties and exquisite berry and Franconian wines. Hearty snacks for hikers and motorcyclists will help them regain their strength so that they can continue on after a stop with us.
Our rustic guest rooms invite you to linger. And on sunny days we will be happy to serve you in the beer garden with a Häfala coffee and homemade cakes and tart specialties.
For special occasions or groups we are happy to make our comfortably furnished hall available. It can accommodate up to 70 people; ideal for bus groups, company or family celebrations. And if you want to spend more than just one day with us, we have rustic guest rooms available for you.
