Description campsite
In Bavaria, on the southern outskirts of Oberammergau, the Oberammergau Camping Park is open from January to October and from mid-December. We have 120 pitches, 6 holiday apartments, 1 log cabin, 1 tent area, a small cabin and a motorhome port for self-sufficient motorhomes.
In addition to showers, toilets and dishwashing facilities, the sanitary building also has washing machines and dryers. Private washrooms (7 rental bathrooms) can be rented for the duration of the holiday. 1 disabled toilet/shower is available in the sanitary building.
Internet access is available on site via WLAN.
If you want to run errands, the center of Oberammergau can be reached in just 15 minutes.
The convenient location of the campsite allows for a variety of sporting activities. In addition to hiking, mountaineering, cycling, climbing and swimming, cross-country skiing, skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing and winter hiking are also possible in winter.
For those interested in culture, the equally popular and well-known excursion destinations such as Linderhof Castle, Neuschwanstein Castle, Munich, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Innsbruck or Füssen are easy and quick to reach. During your stay you will receive a guest card, which allows you to travel free of charge by bus (to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Füssen, Linderhof Castle, etc.) and train (to Murnau).
