Description campsite
The Sonnland campsite is located north of Bamberg, right before the entrance to the medieval town of Sesslach. The campsite offers pitches in the sun and in partial shade within a light forest area. Small holiday homes in rustic wooden construction can also be rented here. Facilities for washing and drying your own laundry are available in a centrally located building. The site itself has a bathing area - the so-called swimming pond - with small streams and bathing jetties. There is also a large barbecue area on site. The diverse landscape all around invites sports-loving holidaymakers to go hiking, cycling, golfing and swimming. You can also visit small medieval castles or spend relaxing hours in one of the thermal baths around Sesslach. Children will enjoy a wildlife park with moose, raccoons, a large trampoline and many other highlights in nearby Tambach.
