Description campsite
The campsite is located with 500 m of shore along the Regnitz. Between the Regnitz meadows at the southern exit of the Bug district of the city of Bamberg. It is only 4 km to the center of the city. A footpath and cycle path leads along the banks of the Regnitz, through the beautiful Hainpark, directly into the historic old town. A bus line also connects the suburb of Bug with the city center. Old trees give the site a park-like character.
The site is very quiet (20 PH.). Registration possible from 1 p.m.
There are now three sanitary buildings (2006/2014/2022). 12 new rental bathrooms have also been built.
The Klause, the restaurant belonging to the site, which also houses the reception, is like a small art exhibition. In the high season, dishes change daily (from 5 p.m.).
All in all: a cozy refuge for sociable hours.
